V&N Nursery ("VN Nursery," "we," "us") runs this website to tell you about our hedges and to make it easy to reach us. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, how we use it, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be read, not skimmed past.

Who we are

VN Nursery is a family-owned wholesale hedge grower located at 18851 Vanowen St., Reseda, CA 91335. You can reach us at (310) 367-4974 or wholesale@vnnursery.com.

Information you give us

When you send a message through our contact or quote forms, we collect the information you type in: your name, email address, phone number if you include it, and your message. By sending a form you agree that we may follow up with you about your request by email or phone.

When you download our wholesale catalog, we collect the email address (and name, if you provide one) that you enter, and downloading means you agree we may follow up with you about wholesale offers.

We do not ask for payment information on this website, and we never ask for sensitive personal information like government IDs.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. When you visit, the following tools may collect information such as your IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you found us:

• Google Analytics 4 (property G-C0NLGERFQW), which helps us understand how visitors use the site.
• Google Ads (account AW-17784989164), which helps us measure whether our advertising works, including conversion tracking when you call us or send a form.
• Firebase Hosting (a Google service that serves this website), which keeps standard server logs.

How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiries and prepare quotes, and to follow up with you about them.
• To understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
• To measure our advertising.

We may use AI tools to help draft responses to inquiries. A member of our team reviews messages before they go out, and your inquiry is never used for anything beyond responding to you.

We do not send marketing newsletters unless you specifically ask for updates, and we do not use your information for anything unrelated to hedges.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. The only third parties that process information from this site are our service providers:

• Google, through Google Analytics and Google Ads as described above. You can read how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
• Google Cloud / Firebase, which hosts the website and processes contact form submissions so they reach our inbox.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies and your choices

When you first visit, a banner lets you choose between "Accept" and "Necessary Only." Choosing "Necessary Only" turns off Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies for your visit. Until you make a choice, analytics and advertising measurement are on by default; you can opt out at any time using the banner choice, and your selection is remembered for a year.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.

Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common standard for how to respond, this site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. The cookie choices above work regardless of that signal.

Your privacy rights

You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email wholesale@vnnursery.com or call (310) 367-4974 and we will take care of it. We will never treat you differently for exercising a privacy right.

California residents: we honor the spirit of California privacy law regardless of whether a specific statute applies to a business of our size. That means no selling or sharing of your personal information, and access, correction, and deletion on request.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry messages for as long as we need them to serve you, then delete them. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings.

Children

This site is for buying hedges. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Meaningful changes will be noted at the top of the page for 30 days.
